Lead Accountant

Scott Berry is always eager to learn new things and take on more responsibilities. He strives to be a trusted and knowledgeable resource for his clients so everyone can grow and succeed.

Scott brings over 20 years of experience to his role as a Lead Accountant at CFO2U. In addition to having an MBA in accounting from Baker College, Scott has worked with small to midsize businesses in various industries such as construction, manufacturing, and property management. He has done everything from the day-to-day accounting functions to handling company financials, budgets, and WIP reports to dealing with outside CPAs.

One of Scott’s favorite things about his job is getting a company’s financials in order. He enjoys finding areas of improvement in order to maximize the company’s profits and making sure owners can understand their financials better so they can make the best overall decisions.

Scott prides himself on being someone his clients and coworkers can count on. He is easily approachable, happy to wear multiple hats, and urges his clients to contact him whenever they have a question.

In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, reading, being outdoors, and relaxing. He also likes to find ways to learn more in order to have more knowledge in his field so he can be a better help to his clients and team.
